The Provincial Court of Manitoba is pleased to offer Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) for Provincial Offences. ODR is a program that allows you to participate in court proceedings online instead of coming to the courthouse.
If you choose to use the ODR system, it is your responsibility to do so within the response dates indicated on your ticket.
If you would like to admit the offence, you can pay your ticket online before your final response date. By admitting the offence, you give up the right to a hearing and this will result in a conviction. Upon conviction, Manitoba Public Insurance determines if and how, the conviction will affect your driving record. The court is not involved in assessing demerits or any other impacts to your driving record.
If your matter is eligible, you will have the opportunity to upload documentation and provide a statement to the court.
If you choose not to submit your case for ODR or fail to fully complete the process, you MUST either pay your ticket in full or contact the court to schedule a hearing.
If you register for online dispute resolution, you will receive notifications by text and/or email. If you are unsure of the authenticity of the sender, always log in to your account to verify.
If you have questions about the court process, please contact your nearest court office: https://www.gov.mb.ca/justice/tickets/contact.html#.
If you are having issues with the ODR application, please contact ICM_Support@gov.mb.ca or (phone number).
